Meet Ally!
Hi! Let me introduce myself, I’m Allison Meyer of Ally Day Photography. I’m a born and raised Northern Virginia native, with a brief four-year stint in Richmond while I attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I’ve always had a love for the arts; I began dancing as soon as I could walk and went on to get my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from VCU. During the day I’m a dance instructor and dancer and by moonlight, I work as a photographer. I LOVE telling stories through movement and have decided to take my talents off the stage and behind the camera. My passion for the arts transcends into my photography by the way I capture moments and movements. I bring enthusiasm to all my sessions and take pride in making this a wonderful experience for everyone! I can’t wait to work with you and capture moments you will cherish for a lifetime!

Hi, my name is Mira Henry and I am 16 years old. I am a part of the senior company at Chris Collins Dance Studio, where I met Ms. Allison! My favorite styles of dance are ballet and contemporary, but I love to compete in all styles. I was a Ally Day ambassador for two years and loved every moment of it. I am so excited for my second year into this new role and help Ally Day Photography grow. If you ever have any questions or need any help please feel free to reach out to me.
